Charlie Nutting

Charlie started Outdoor Expressions in 1995 after completing his Bachelor of Science in Business at UNC Charlotte. With a love of the outdoors and the dedication to make a career out of following his passion he chose to open a landscape company. Many years have passed but he continues to build and expand his business and have developed many long-term coworkers who share the same passion. Outdoor Expressions takes pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces and believe this is exemplified by many happy customers over three decades.

Benjamin Nutting

From an early age, Benjamin Nutting has helped his father, Charlie, install and maintain landscapes. As Ben got older he realized turf and horticulture was not just a job it was also his passion. During and after high school Ben continued his education in turf and horticulture by pursuing an Associates in Turfgrass Management Technology at CVCC. While pursuing his degree at CVCC, he developed skills to draft and design landscapes on paper and CAD while also learning the science behind turf and horticulture.

Benjamin currently holds his North Carolina Landscape Contractors license and North Carolina Pesticide Applicators license.
